Garage Sale Success!

As some of you know, I hosted a garage sale in the middle of September as a fundraiser for my project. I am extremely pleased to say that it was a huge success and right now we're at almost six-hundred bucks! (With more to come, may I add.) I'm considering upping my goal to $1,000 for WWF because I've still got three more months of planned fundraising. But, I'm not sure yet. Either way, today worked out amazingly and I am ecstatic at the moment. Remember, if you'd like to add to my amazing income, go to www.cafepress.com/blanceofnature to purchase some really awesome stuff! Coming Monday (I hope) there will be this design in addition to the balance one. But, my weekend is sort-of all over the place so... yeah.
I'd like to thank the following people for their fantastic help during today's events:

Laura Kennard
Marlee Yost-Wolff
Alexa Malik
Reilly Malone
Desiree Neyens
Spencer Yost-Wolff
William Burns

And, of course, all of our costumers made it possible as well. It was a delight to see people pull up in front of our driveway and browse our hundreds of items, and even though we didn't quite sell it all, we sold a pretty big chunk of it. :) Happy!

Thanks to Laura!

My friend recently had a garage sale in Kansas City (remember to be collecting old stuff for ours!). Last night (Sunday) at a 4-H meeting, she came up to me with a wad of cash!
"For your project thingy." She said. Her mom told us the whole story afterward. They mentioned the project to a few people and, to their surprise, got donations! Laura also contributed her makings from the lemonade stand, for which, I am grateful. :D

Voting Progress

As you all know, (or most of you at least,) I held votes for which endangered animals I should adopt, providing I raise the $700. (You can see the donate button right there! ➚) Right now, the votes are...
Gorilla-2
Amur Leopard-2
Chimp-1
Panda Bear-1
Meerkat-1
Clownfish-1
Toucan-1
Lynx-1
Bonobo-1
Orangutan-1
Snowy Owl-1
Okapi-1
Gray Wolf-1
Seahorse-1
Dolphin-1
Tiger-1
Snow Leopard-1

So... Yeah. If you still have a vote to cast, I'm still takin' them! Obviously, this is way more than seven, and I would like that narrowed down a bit. You can vote more than once, just not on the same animal. To vote, just post in the comments.
As another reminder, check out my online store, Balance of Nature! (http://www.cafepress.com/balanceofnature) Here, you can buy from a large selection of items, all featuring my Photoshop creation "Balance." To see the picture, check out my post below! :D
Thanks to all who have taken action by donating, voting, purchasing, or just reading and thinking about doing any of these! You are helping to a fantastic cause, and feel free to do so more than once!

My Shop

Alright, this is a very exciting post. I have opened a shop by the name "Balance of Nature," featuring my photoshop creation entitled "Balance." All profits made from this website will be donated to my Project for Sanity. I suppose what I'm trying to say here is that now, I have products up for sale and every purchase made is one step closer to reaching my goal and saving some animals! I'm just about halfway there, as you can see from my handy-dandy fundraising thermometer, and I'm hoping this gets me a little bit more. Here is the link to my online shop:http://www.cafepress.com/balanceofnature, and I will keep you all updated on the most recent news about my project.

Spike in Donations!

Have you seen the thermometer? Yeah, I know. Over three-hundred dollars and it's the first of June! Yep, this is great! This summer is going to be packed with fundraising events, starting with MASSIVE garage sales! Keep checking up, and if you can't make it to a fundraising event, remember that you can donate online, too! Thanks you guys, if I can pull this off it would be GREAT! As it is, I can symbolically adopt six animals and still have enough money left over to donate, which is really good. Of course, to maximize my donation, I will only adopt seven altogether if I can get the $700. Yes, I am still taking votes, just check the post titled "votes!" Thanks again all who have donated or are thinking about donating, you have helped out in fighting this battle for endangered animals, and that is something to be proud of. :)

READ THIS IF YOU READ THE LAST ONE!

I apologize, on my last post I made a big mistake. The animals listed in red were not all extinct from the wild, some were only critically endangered. I'm sorry for this error, it has been corrected.

Votes!

Okay, so, I just did the math (nerd) and I realized that if I get the $700, I can (symbolically) adopt up to 14 animals, although I think I'll only do 7 because I want to give more than I recieve. Anyways, I'm never gonna be able to decide on which animals I should adopt, so I need you guys to decide for me! :D Just place a vote in the comments (there's a little button there. Yeah, right there)!
